started up my comp (first time builder)

i dont think that the agp slot is faulty, because when i have it plugged in, the fan and heatsink that is on the graphics card is spinning so power is getting to the card.

did you try another card in that system and/or monitor?

well i ended up just taking the whole computer apart. and check all connections when i put it back together and it works!. I so happy!! im not sure what was wrong but it works now. now im setting up the bios
