Hurting/killling my comp

Alright, I haven't even gotten the chance of turning it on, nor have I installed the hard drive. It's still on it's way probably here next week or so. I did set it down as one of my components. I've been reading how people have been frying there's cpu and such and I really don't want that to happen...honestly. So, any purcaution I need to take, or is my comp seem safe enough with the profile I have given?

Also I'm still a freshie/n00b at some of the terms and was curious if Over clocking is good, or bad? and Would my hardware some how be affected?

Seems like you got a decent rig going for ya. From what I know the board is easily overclocked. Overclocking is increaseing the speed of the component beyond factory specs. This does shorten the life of the component, only very slightly. More than likely you will upgrade before you need new components though. luck
