Well, ever since I put the stock HSF on with arctic silver it has been floating around 37c, then I turned the computer off, went out to eat, and now when i turned it on it says 43. WTF?

Speedfan is off like 8*C for me...I only use it to log temps during benchmarks, can't really trust it too much.

Speedfan runs accurately on my pc. @ 2.7 with a stock heatsink my cpu under full load peaks at 50*C. I'm waiting for my thermaltake sonic tower to come in.

I use Everest Home Edition. It's highly accurate with my motherboard cross refrenced with BIOS readings. It's easy to use and has a lot of information if you need to know virtually ANYTHING about your computer.
