Default somthing to load the cpu ????

Is there some sorta software or somthing that runs in a small window that will put a full load on my cpu so i can watch the temp of the cpu on a full load.

Cant u just run something in window mode, say like an emulator or something? Just a thought. Dont some games allow you to run it in window mode?
