SLI x8 x8

thinking of getting another 8600gt and running them in sli mode as well as 1gb of ram (getting ready for crysis, assasins creed, world in conflict hehehehe

my mobo is an asus m2n-e-sli and it support sli but its says in x8 mode for both? i thought it was x16 for one slot and x8 for the other slot and for some boards x16 for both. Would it still be good in x8 mode for both? anyone gone through this experience

If I were you I would sell that card on ebay and get an 8800.

Agreed with nerdygeek. One 8800GTS will crush two 8600GTs, it's not even funny.

will the one 8800Gts cope for crysis and all the other games i listed or shall i wait a couple of months and buy the 8800gtx extreme

Of course the GTS will play Crysis...way better than two 8600GTs, that's for sure. Supposedly by the end of this year, there will be the 9800GTX. Heres a thread I posted on it:
