Question SLI Vid Card to pick??

OK i've been thinkin abut to to an SLI setup but i have no experience with Nvidia cards what so ever. So i was wondering if ya'll had any suggestions on cards that have worked well for you.

Btw proly be a 6600 . .128mb (something along those lines)

2 6600GTs will work very well but in some occations one 6800GT outperformed it. BTW dosent your sig say upcoming x800?

hehe ok what brand are good and such . . . . and well i need to update the sig lol it's been built but a few things have changed . . . gonna build a new rig anyways =p

eVGA, Leadtek and BFG are the best NVIDIA companies.

i would suggest eVGA for the 600GT. but again, i would go for a single 6800GT personally.

But then think about it...X800XL is cheaper than a 6800GT, but performs on the same level...

yeah dude, but you can't do SLI with them cuz the big *** heatsink takes 2 slots...

I am running 2 6800 GToc's from BFG and am very pleased with the outcome.

It is a couple of steps up, but my experiance with games such as BF Vietnam, 1942, Diablo II and CS Source have been worry free.

Have not read up on the X800's that everyone is speaking of though. Look for some reviews though and compair for what you play them on.

The heat sinks are also well suited for SLI.
