Default SLI + multimonitors

Hi

Im planning on buying a 24" as my main monitor and using my 19" as a secondary monitor, and buying an 8500GT PCI for running my 19" monitor since vista doesnt like 2 types of graphics card. Can someone please provide instructions on how to enable multimonitor and SLI support on vista please? or should i just run a single monitor?

Thanks

Alternatively, you can buy a splitter. I know a guy that has some kind of splitter that goes into one DVI port, and then splits into 3 DVI ports. He can run 3 monitors while on SLI. And it's not mirrored like you'd think, the resolution is like 3000x1080 or something crazy like that, and spans across all 3 monitors.

Only downfall is it costs like 300$.

Thanks vernong!

As for the splitter, i dunno...spending £150 extra doesnt appeal too much when i can get the 8500 for about £50....

well id rather play a game on one monitor, besides the 2 monitors i will have will have different resulutions and i dont like running at non-ntive res, so thats kinda thrown the splitter outta the water.
