Default SLI configuration

Hi there,

What's the story with SLI? I am fairly certain that the cards have to be the same GPU, though clock speeds can be different.

I have a 7600GT CO as well as the card in my sig. Would I be able to run them in SLI? If so, would any of you folks do it?

Thanks for your time.

I'm pretty sure the clock speeds do not matter, but i know for sure the cards have to be the same (ie. 2 7900GTs, you can't do one 7900GT and one 7600GS).

Have to have same cores but recent sli updates say you can mix and match companies and their clock speeds. Guess it just down clocks the higher clocked card to the lower clocked card. Pretty cool, if it wasnt so **** expensive! Lol
