Being that it is a OEM HP Case, I have been In that same situation with a compaq, your only hope is to buy an aftermarket window kit, there are lots of theses kinds of kits out on the market. They are actually becoming pretty elaborate, some with defferent types of lexan colors, UV, itching. These kits normally come with some sort of template, you can use a saber saw with a metal blade to cut it, if you are worried about a clean cut, don't , the window moulding these kits come with almost hides even the worst of cutting skills. you would really have to do something major wrong for it not to work. Or you could get creative and do something really wild with one of your own idea's. Good Luck
