Ok true-orb, thats BASICALLY sums it up lol. Intel is not worth the money for the efficiency. Amd is close and not worth to spend on intel...if money is an object.

We should really just sticky a thread like this if we are going to argue about the same thing over and over and over.

yeah but i dont think its worth getting any of the TOP-OF-LINE proccessors unless you will really be using them which 80% of ppl or more wont

i mean any cpu over 2 ghz (as bandage_boy already stated) can handle almost anything for the timebeing...now if u spend like 1000 on a processor it will just get outdated sooner or later and u wont even use all of its power....you might as well keep ur money n just get another processor later

Trax what do you base that on.Any AMD 64.You sure about that.

http://www20.tomshardware.com/cpu/20...escott-13.html

Some food for thought. All AMD chip's but for the FX series have been locked to make OCing a lot harder.Registered memory ring a bell.

For online games such as EQ. A lot of folks run a couple account's.Running 2 or 3 accounts at once takes a lot.

Pretty silly OC
