Default should I/how do I overclock my computer ?

I'm pretty new to overclocking...I'm actualy in the middle of OCing my video car as we speak.

But my questions are: how does overclocking improve your performance?(IE for games)

can I overclock my RAM ?

What parts of my computer can be overclocked?

how do I do it ?

Are you hearing any ping sounds or seeing any dots or lines throughout the 3D view?

Lower your clock by 5 MHz right now and run the Artifact Scan one more time. Actually 10 MHz.

ok so I ran the find max core... it rans fine... then I ran the artifact check, and after about 8 minutes it beeped once.... Now I'm going to lower the clock by 10mhz .... how do I do that?

should I run the max mem after ?

then run the artifact one last time ?

You see where Core 2D Memory , Core 3D low power, and Core 3D perf. Memory is at? Well what your Max Core is at, lower the Core clock by 10 MHz on the core side of 2D, 3D low power, and 3D perf.
