Hey guys. I recently got this laptop from newegg.

Newegg.com - Recertified: ASUS G Series G72GX-RBBX05 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 17.3" 6GB DDR2 Memory 500GB HDD DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M

Works awesome and plays any game I throw at it. I get up to 50 FpS in Black ops. It usually runs at 30-40 Fps. The only other game I have that is newer is SC2. This I haven't seen how many Fps this gets when I run it.

So I have two questions.

1) Should this be preforming better? I don't have a cooling pad and I haven't overclocked because it's a laptop. Is there maybe a setting I'm missing that can improve performance?

2) Is there a program that helps you judge your FPS in games as you play then you can review the specs after?

I'm open to any suggestions and appreciate the help!!!!

1) I'd say you're getting pretty decent performance out of it considering its a laptop.
2) FRAPS, X-Fire I believe does this, or sometimes you can even enable it in-game through a console command (depending on the game).
