Question Sensors

How do you stick thermal sensors to the bottom of the cpu, i see it stuck to the bottom of cpus in pics, but they never say how they got it that way.

Anyone who has added sensors to their CPUs, let me know what you have done to do this... im adding a Volcano 9 to my AMD CPU
