ok i was just downloading the revision f9 of gigabytes bios for dq6 and when i was installing @BIOS i saw a program on the disk called i-cool and so i decided to install it to see how well it worked after installing it i ran it and turned the power down to minimum, i then checked my temps and they had gone up from 56 to 72degrees celcius WTF so i uninstalled it.Then when i was looking at cpuz i noticed that for some unknown reason the cpu has been running at 1.4-1.5v. can anyone tell me why it was going this high when it is only oc'ed by 400mhz?? it is a core 2 duo e6300 on a gigabyte 965p dq6. i have lowered the voltage to 1.3 and the temps have dropped to 41 idle(coretemp beta0.94)

Sounds kind of weird, you didn't alter the voltage on your own at all? I guess the moral of the story is don't install something if you don't know what it is.
