Default Sata II

just seen a 250gig WD hdd wich is SATAII with 16mb chach and was wondering if it would be worth getting. i need another hdd anyway but is it worth getting SATAII and 16mb? and yea my mobo does support sataII

From what I have read, the speed of SATAII is faster than the read speed of the drive. So the speed of SATAII will not be fully utilized.

I would think the 16mb of cache would help, but you could find out by looking for benchmarks. But like said before, the hard drive won't even come close to maxing out the bandwidth of SATA150 let alone SATAII.
