I've just built my new comp with a 80 gb Sata Hard Drive. I want to put Windows XP Pro onto the computer. I have set up the partitions as stated in the hdd manual through its boot up installation software. It directs me to reboot and boot from the windows disk to install windows. I get into the set up of windows and hit F6 to set up the 3rd party hdd as stated in the manual. My question is: Is the only way to set up the hdd to use the sata floppy disk? I don't have a floppy drive installed at the moment and wondered if I can get around not having to install one. My mobo is an ABIT AV8 so I have the built in SATA.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you ever find away, tell me. I have to burrow a floppy drive from my school.

I think xp with sp2 has them on the disk.
