well im looking to upgrade my rig so i will be getting a dfi mobo soon and i want to get a good hsf so which should i get.. ive been looking but there are sooo many different styles and all kinds of crazyones...

Well, I need some details.

I personally use a Samurai Z cooler (Scythe), because it is low profile and very quiet, but I plan to upgrade to a Scythe Ninja, because I can get more airflow, for higher overclocks, and it is practically just as quiet.

Yeah, as far as price/ performance ratio goes, Scythe Ninjas are the best.

Arctic Freezer 64 Pro is a pretty decent cooler,Mine idle's at 32*c and never go's above 39*c load and that's with my 3000+ oc'ed to 2.6Ghz

i'd go for the scythe ninja, i've got one.. and il ove it, noiseless and kickin' arse.. can't go wrong with that.. well i added the fan to mine.. sooo.. not so noiseless... lol

bad idea with a DFI board, the way the mount is postioned you can get the HSF to blow air towards the back fan

Yeah, it was a shame when I figured that out with my board.. but honestly it doesn't make that big of a difference for me. My 3700+ idles at 37 celcius @ 2.95.. load never more than 45ish.
