Rate My Overclock!!

Just OC'd today, wondering how I did in comparison with others. Got the 3700+ stable @ 2.904 ghz idling at 32-33, stays under 54 under load. Think I can squeeze 3.0ghz out of this setup??

Yea I think you were the one that told me aspire psu's suck lol...I have the ram running ddr333 @ 2.75v.

try to OC that ram DDR333 is slow, at least try to get it at DDR400, i bet that ram could do DDR500 if you set the timings right.

I think he just means has the divider on 333 (5:6), thats not the actual speed.

Hmm...Well at DDr400 I had it at 2.7 stable without messing with voltages or timing. Only problem is...I don't know much about changing timings, i've had a friend helping me so far...i'm picking it up though.

Would I even notice a difference between ddr333 and ddr500?

Yea you would notice a difference, right now that ram is bottlenecking you overclock...just like mine that I'm trying to straighten out

Ok after talking with my buddy that helped me out, I found out what we did was overclock the FSB to 265 x 11 from 200 x 11, and put the Ram from ddr400 to ddr330...and when you do the math my ram is actually running at ddr438...so it's overclocked.
