Hey, this idea just hit me.. When I was ocing I set my pc3200 RAM at 166Mhz speed, this is like pc2700? Since I had 2 more pc2700 RAM could I throw this in and with 2x ram running at pc2700?, would it work? Since they would dual aswell [1 pair, 1 pair].
Can anyone verify that this could work and 166mhz is pc2700..
Thanks

Yes, 166 = DDR333 (PC2700).

However, if you set your RAM to 166MHz, and then overclocked higher, and then added more PC2700 RAM, it will be running higher than the PC2700's limit.

And no, it will not be dual-channel.

what? PC3200 overclocled at 166? write again, PC3200 is 200Mhz.

if you have 2 identical pairs, then it will definately work Dual Channel. provided latency matches.
