I think you should stick the memory back in the computer and then increase the amount of system memory that is to be used by the onboard video. Max it out if possible.

After installing the memory, restart the PC. Hit the F10 key after you hear the post beep to enter the bios. Go to the Advanced Screen and navigate down to Onboard Video Memory Size. Increase this setting up as high as it will go, 512 MB would be great if offered.
