Default RAM Compatibility question

My current Mobo supports 2.5v ram but i found a really sweet deal on some high end ram but the specs say it used at 2.75V. Will it still work on my board?

Default Re: RAM Compatibility question

Whats your motherboard model? Every board supports at least 2.5v but others will support higher.

You can run the memory at the lower voltage but it will not run as fast.
