Im not sure if this is the right forum but it seemed like "tweaking performance".
I want to make a RAID0 with the two Barracudas listed in my sig and i was wondering if i should do everthing before (install OS, etc), before i install the second hdd or create the RAID first and then install the OS. I was confused since the RAID0 splits data between the two drives and if i should install the OS in RAID0 or do i want the OS on one drive?

1st install os then install raid 0. cos there is a common glich with N-Force4 that means that the OS won't install if u have configured raid 0

ahah, thanks for the info. Should i complete the build and make sure everything works and have it all tested and then add the second hard drive? I couldnt find this info when i was looking for tips and instructions as to how to build a computer.

Should i create a partition for windows and then add the other drive and create the RAID?
