Default Radeon 9800PRO Heatsink

I want to overclock my card a significant amount, do you think this is overkill or "enough"?

I've never read any reviews or tests on it, but I think those heatpipes are supposed to help, so yea give it a shot, if it sucks send it back

i wouldn't say it's overkill. you bought a good card and if youre going to spend that much on the card, i think its worth an extra 35 bucks for cooling to overclock significatly

FYI you can never "overkill" with cooling

I have overclocked my 128MB MSI Ti4200 from 250/444 to 310/540 using default cooling. Runs fine with me.

2.8c's are easy to overclock, I used a ****LOAD of air, especially the CPU heatsink, I spent like 40 bucks on fans and around 70 on heatsinks, which in my opinion is a lot better than a cheapo $100 water cooling system, which could totally fuxor my shiza up if one drop escapes the tube.

My score on my Ti4200 OC'd is around 12k.

I need to know what kind of speed I could get out of my 9800 Pro.
