you should be able to change it via the temperatures section when you press the configure button. it will have either a checkbox saying "display this temperature in task bar" or you have to right click on one of the temperature sensors. i'm saying this from memory though so don't take it as gospel i'm just guessing but hopefully it helps
Nope. Nothing as you described. Thanks for the effort though. I even have everything unchecked besides the temperature reading I want. I get "00" on my taskbar now. If I put the cursor over it, it shows the correct temperature as a little pop-up.
configure, temperatures tab. click the desired temperature, and there is a "show on taskbar" tickbox. you can change the colour of it etc on the options tab.
EDIT: your memory is right nitestick, and mr_wizard, you aren't looking hard enough...
