After personally talking to BFGTech, EVGA, and XFX this afternoon, none of these AIB partners have seen anything that points to the GT being a problematic card. If anything, out of the thousands and thousands that have already been sold in North America, we can point to less than 15 cards being RMA’d in total to the companies listed above. From our vantage point here at HardOCP there seems to be no real issues with DOA or BSODing GeForce 8800 GT video cards. I would suggest you can purchase an 8800 GT in confidence. I will stay in contact with BFGTech, EVGA, and XFX to make sure they don’t start seeing any issues out of the ordinary.
