Well I've been over clocking all day for a few days and I've been running into this conclusion. If I don't give my processor enough volts will my pc run slower?? It's running great and 3dmark runs, but it feels like everything is choppy. Let me know if you can!

Thanks

EDIT: Also CPU Z likes to bounce between 6 and 9 multiplier... Any clue why? I'm on 9, but it tends to like 6 more. lol

The following should be Disbaled in the CMOS.
Virtualization technology
E1est (Or whatever it is called, it will be called speedstep or something similar)
C1E (Advanced halt state or whatever)

Use updated prime 95 to test for stability, if blue screens or errors play with voltage settings more.

Moved thread too, if your gonna make so many topics about the same thing, you should at least place them in the correct section...

heh... Yeah, alright. I'm at 3.7Ghz right now with a temp of 38-45. How high does stress testing usually push the temp?

At the same speed my Q6600 hits about 70C...

And thats about where you want to stop when under heavy load.

If you idle at 45C you will probably be in that area if not higher.
