Question about Bios flash

Hello all,

I am wanting to flash the bios of my mobo, but there are many bios version for my P5Q Deluxe board. My question is, what version should I use? The reason is I have 2x2gbs of CM2X2048-6400C5 sticks of ram that will not work with the mobo, and when I have searched the web I have found forums that state they do work.

There is a flash that will update compatibility of memory which would be version 1702, the newest version is 2301. If I used the newest version would that update everything that the previous versions had, or do I need to backtrack every version? I am a noob when it comes to bios flashing so be easy on me I know how to do it, just not sure if the newest versions update up till that point, or are they individual fixes per flash?

Use the newest version. It should contain all the previous updates.

You can just use the latest, it will have all fixes and such.
