do they use blacklights to make it glow like that?

maybe somehting like this?

I don't think so. I have some of those UV cathodes. They really put out a genuinely purple glow. I'm not seeing much of a purple glow at all on that case except that little purple thing on the front. What is that? Anyway, I don't see any signs of blacklights.
