Just saying as a reference.. I have a xeon 3220 which is what I'm told is basically a q6600 but I've heard that the only difference is the temp threshold, my mobo shows idle @ 46c-50c with the chip @ 3.4ghz 1700fsb 8xmulti 1.5v. In vista I get difference temps from programs but from the more accurate ones I've seen my temps @ 65c/66c in-game and 52-58c in vista. I dunno really what the difference is between the chips but I could not get this chip stable @ 3.6ghz and I feared the stable voltage would be 1.6v +/- so it's not even plausible to do that on air cooling.
