hay everyone i was thinking last night i have my xbox siting next to my comp and i run the comp on 1 monitor on 1 and the xbox on a nother i was thinking could you put a xbox in a computer by puting the disk drive and firmware and eta. dose any one no if you can do this or has done this and what exacty would you have to do.

It's doable. I just would not want the extra heat in my case. 360's put out some btu's hahah
Edit: Sorry, i guess i may have read this wrong but, if you are wondering if you could just put the xbox's drive in your pc and add the correct drivers / firmware and run games on your pc? I believe that's a no. not 100% sure

Heat would be something I would take very seriously if you are considering this, especially if it's an earlier gen Xbox.
Other than that, I fail to see how this is going to really benefit you in any way.

If the Xbox has water cooling on it then it's no different than having 2 PCs inside a Mountain Mods.
