PSU question

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I purchased a 500w power supply. It has the standard ATXPWR 20 pin connector and the ATX12 4 pin connector on it. My Mobo ABIT NF7-S 2.0 running a AMD Athlon Barton 2500+ Overclocked to 3200+. The Mobo has both power connectors on it. Should I have both of them plugged into the Mobo? My power supply +12v is a 28amp running at around 11.40 To low for my liking. Just curious if it will make any difference if both powers are plugged in. Thanks

I dont have a clue whether it will have any difference on you +12v rail. in some cases it makes the computer more stable, so yes, have both plugged in.

that 4pin connector is mainly to take strain off the +12v line for the CPU to use. It needs to remain plugged in along with the 20pin.
