PSU problem

At first i connected the fans to the PSU to check that the PSU was ok. The psu has its own switch on the back so i flicked that and nothing happened. Is this becuase i dont have it hooked up to the main power switch (at the front of case) and the mobo?

oh btw i dont have my mobo or dvd-rw drive yet, because when they delivered my stuff a box was missing. typical the bit i need to at least get started (the mobo) i'm gonna have to wait for.

to test it you need a mobo.. gimme a few mins, you can put a jumper across 2 pins on the mobo wire comming out of the psu to turn it on without a mobo. i will find a link for you
