PSU: Cutting the clutter (literally)

yea with a non modualr psu i cant even fit my drive bay radiator and a dual floppy bay resivior in my pc, unless well i let the cables hang in front of the window GASP, i cant belive i even said that! shame on me(mid-tower)

i might try and cut them, so when i cut then i have to tape off each wire or just wrap each set of wires?
