PSU: Cutting the clutter (literally)

Okay, so I really love my Antec PSU, but there are too many connectors. I don't even use half of 'em, and I don't think I ever will, especially the two PCI-E connectors, and some other connectors I've never even seen before.

So can I just cut these off? And do something like tape them over or use heatshrink over the ends, so it's impossible to touch the [very small amount of] exposed wire?
 
NO! DO NOT DO THAT! You'd have to shrink wrap each wire individually.

Just bundle them up... :rolleyes:

And this is why I have a modular PSU. I just don't plug in what cables I don't need. :)
 
I do. I bundle them up, but there are so many of them, it's a huge mess, and it'd be so much better if I could just cut them off...

I want to get my case REALLY organized, and there's no way to do this with all these extra wires and connectors.
 
Why is everyone so worried about organizing cables? It won't make your computer faster, and your componants don't make that much heat, so why would it matter?
