Problem somewhat solved

I finally got my pc up and running again. I bought a new MSI mobo and now when I install XP, after it formats, it reboots, then goes back to the setup screen to be formated again. I changed ther boot order after this to hdd, still no luck. I've only got one hdd on the ide, set as master, then tried cable select, still nothing. Any ideas?

Are you getting a POST error or anything pointing to a hardware error?

nevermind..accidentally reversed the cables. I have 2 hdds, just had the cables reversed. working now....duh..
