Default Prime95 error Q's

So, with a Vid of 1.225, I decided to bump up my OC from 3 to 3.2, and actually stressed it.

After 1 1/2hrs I got an error on core 2 only,

The other 3 continued testing with no issues.

So, where is stressed.txt? and is this just a Volt thing?
I'm actually pretty low, a Vcore of only 1.225 and Vram @ 2.0

Thanks

Your unstable, simple as that. Any errors means the cpu isn't stable. Check your temps and your voltages. You may have to raise the voltage a tad to make the cpu stable, but we can't know without more info.

I assumed that as i'm set AT my Vid.... Temps are only 47-51C.

I'm more curiouss where stress.txt is..

Seems funny with just 1 core shutting off. Oh well, up the voltage i will.

Thanks

Personally I think that's a little hot. Not hot enough to cause instability but I think too hot to run 24/7. Stress.txt is just the log file that prime95 creates when it runs. it lists everything that happened during the stress test.

But yes you should up the voltage. Its not surprising that you cant get any higher with vid voltages.

ya a q6600, from my experiences with them, needs a lil push to get to 3.2

Oh, the 50ish C is at full load! Idle is low 30Cs.

At a Vcore of 1.19 I still booted and got 20min of testing

Hmm still can't find the stress file oh well......

Thanks guys

the Q6600's can withstand heat of 70C so i wouldnt be worried about 50C, just get worried wen your reaching the HIGH 60's.

I suggest using intel burn utility to stress it. Its much faster and alot more stressful. Prime stable is sometimes not intel burn test stable.
