Default prime95

is the "In-place large FFTs" for maximum heat as brutal as gaming would be? does it accuratly show me what the heat of my CPU is going to be while playing games?
also, does anyone know of a program that will put in overlay in all of my games showing me temperatures of my hardware so i dont have to always alt+tab out to look? i google'd it but i didn't come up with anything relavent. nor did i know what to search for.

[CPU: e6600 @ 3300 MHz] // [MB: ASUS P5N-E SLi] // [RAM: Patriot 'eased latency' PC2-6400 @ DDR800 5-4-4-12-2T] // [GPU: 8800GTX @ 650/1000/1600 (volt modded)] // [HDD: 2x Cavier 500GiB stripe] // [Chassis: Thermaltake Armor VA8000 (black)] // [PSU: Aspire(Apevia) 680w] // [OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64][Cooling: water cooled GPU and CPU]
^ (9/7/2010): Ha, I remember when that was the stuff. My water cooling has since leaked and fried my mobo. So now I'm rocking an MSI laptop with an i5 430m :)

I know there's a way of getting a graph with your temps while your playing games, but Prime95 actually heats up your CPU beyond normal use and beyond normal full load so your CPU won't get that hot during gameplay. I'm not too sure about this but you could try Everst home edition for the temp monitoring graph.

everquest2 uses full load of CPU power. just to let you know theres a game actually come as close to the testing. but so far none of the other games come close. prime95 test and playng everquest2's cpu temp is very similer.
