Yeah... for your budget, the 6800GT hands down...

doesnt really matter what brand.. but avoid XFX

anything besides bfg because bfg was still available a few months ago now its gone

Yeah...gigabyte is good. It sounds like that might be your best option, being as you don't have eVGA and BFG.

But if i could get Bfg but it was easier to get gigabyte then should i spend the extra effort getting the Bfg?? and also i saw the BFG 6800GT OC EDITION IS THAT ANY GOOD???

Yeah, the BFG 6800GT comes pre-overclocked...this guy I know uses it...he upgraded from an X800 Pro, and he loves his BFG 6800 GT.

That overclock that BFG comes with is puny man, talking like 20MHz extra on the core, you could do that easily.

get LeadTek or MSI, those would be the two I'd recommend first.
