Power Efficient, is it overall efficient?

lol, hey guys..

I've seen the 89w/110w post here but I am asking overall about the power efficient models of AM2..

I Could get an AM2 x2 3800 for 160$ +/- NOT power efficient [like 89watts I think] or Power efficient one for 230$+/- .......

but, how does this work? does PE overclocks better? operates better? or does it actually makes the cpu slower compared to none power efficient??

The power efficient CPUs run at lower voltages (less power - same clockrate)

They can overclock higher since the higher clockrates at lower voltages will allow for higher clockrates at the normal or higher voltages.

You may get an 89w sample that is just as good as the EE. They handpick the EE and test them at low voltages.
