hey nitestick you got ne suggestions about my computer shutting off whenever a temperature moniter tries to read the temp?.. i just did a full & complete format, reinstall of windows, the whole gazzilion yards and it still shut off.

could be a BIOS issue seeing as the pc would have to access the temps via it. perhaps a bios flash? very strange problem. does it happen with any temp monitor? also in future either PM me, bump an old thread of yours or start a new one.

Opteron 165 @ 2ghz is now 43 seconds. Hoping to beat my old single core processor's time after new ram arrives and I do some real overclocking.

owned. nuff said. lol jp, but this is a pretty nice score if i do say so m'self ^.^ it could probably be a couple of milliseconds quicker if my comp would let me voltage go higher than 1.450v but it wont.

lazer next time use cpu-z or CBID instead of dxdiag. comeon i think i did a very respectable 31 seconds on one of the previous pages. my processor started at 2.0ghz not 2.8 though
