My proposed system, I am about to purchase, please give me any suggestions or last minute tips/warnings!

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200 "Winchester"
HDD: Seagate 7200 RPM 80GB SATA w/ 8mb buffer (I like quiet)

LoL, prices have gone up during the last few weeks, too! You know USD is measured differently though, right?

Its good, BUT i would look at some 3200XL series. like XLPT (platinum for PT) it has 2-2-2-5 latencies. Its price went down. Very nice ram.

Its good yes but there is only a minimal speed increase. Maybe im being lagged by my cpu.lol

Save money for a year, you should have a good budget for it.
