Unhappy Penitum 3 Limits

Hi Guys I have been realy short on $$$ so i thought instead of buy a P4 or amd I decided to buy a second Pentium 3 1ghz with a p3 mobo and i was wonerdering if the mobo can handle 8 HARDRIVES since building an amd or a p4 was to expensive i want to know if a p3 can handle this kind of stuff.

you can add as many HD's as you want, but you need to buy the neccesary controller cards for it. The motherboard itself mostly doesn't support more than 4 IDE devices

also make sure u have a big enough psu to handle 8 hdd's cuz that a fair bit of power

8 hard drives...what on earth would you need 8 hard drives for unless they are like 20 gigs each?
