peltier watercooling

ive got an idea for someone with a watercooling system or some money (im saving up). what if you could put the cold side of a peltier cooler directly into the water? or pump the water over the coldplate? this would let you take out a radiator and could make the water colder! a quieter system and a lower temperature! only problem is you'd have to find some way to cool the other end of the peltier for this all to work. its worth a try for all those people with the money. i think peltiers run pretty cheap you'd just have to do some pretty serious modding.

let me know if anyone has done this/is trying to do it.

Speaking of water cooling, this may be off topic and I just felt as it was pointless to create a new thread when this thread is already discussing water cooling. Anyways, how reliable is water cooling? Can it leak? Is it loud?

its supposed to be pretty reliable and if you put it together right it shouldnt leak. i dont know from experience, though, so you might want to find out from someone who really knows watercooling.
