Default PC BUILD, on budget!

Okay, I am planning on building a new computer, I don't have much money though.

About Christmas I'll be building another one (X2, 7800 I hope!)

Don't get a Abit AN8. Get some kind of DFI board or MSI board if possible. Wait does MSI make boards with PCIe yet?

just look for DFI Lanparty, and for the right socket.. DFI is good.

Is that what everyone says? "Dfi can overclock so therefore it must be the best motherboard for those on a budget, especially since you have to pay a premium for it." Doesn't make sense.

DFI has a good architecture, low resistance, and high stability and it's reliable... that's why we reccomand it...

Yes, and you can get all of those things for 50 dollars less. Why spend more on an extra feature when you aren't going to use it?

Pfft, Abit is just as good I'm sure. I was going to get an Abit but then I purchased the DFI because I was to overclock this 3000+ winny and I'm a noob at overclocking so I figure I better have the best board for it. I would prefer not having two pci-e 16 slots though.
