painting cd/dvd front panel?

ok the front of my pc is silver and because ive upgraded to a dvd/RW its a different colour(white-ish) so it looks out of place and i just wondered if i could spray the front off it to match the rest of the pc?

I dont see any reason why i couldnt but just thought id ask the experts first

Also any tips?

i don't know much about painting plastics. i have some friends over at xb-t.com that where pretty good though who painted xbox cases as part of their mods. perhaps go over there and see if you can find a guy called HaloLoser who does some pretty cool work with case mods, he might be able to give you advice

I redid my entire case a spray-paint black, it scratched off in one spot with a fingernail, but then i learned to put a nice coat of varnish or laquer over it. It looks great, just some info if ur gonna paint it.
