Yeah, cos it takes up time for the HDD to make the PF biggger, so if you need the extra PF, it may not come fast enough

And thanks guys for the tip. i didnt realise that the 1.5x rle didnt apply anymore nowadays

I have a 4GB pf atm (dunno why.... ) should i set it to about 1GB? will crysis run on that? i've seen it hog 1.5GB of my ram, and XP x64 on a normal day hogs up about 500mb...(with basic services succh as windows live and hamachi, ntune and the like....)...

1gb is enough, i run stalker, oblivion, civ 4 with 2gb ram and 1 gb PF and they have never crashed.

And @ Da Viksta, you probably don't even need a paging file with 4gb of ram.
