Hey, i have a P4 1.7 GHz on an Asus board, how high should i push the frequency/multiplier?

I thought the P4s were locked so you couldnt OC them.
I heard that Intel under rate thier CPUs by 30 %, but as a rule, never go over 10, but if you monitor the heat of the CPU and it never exeeds 55 degrees once its OC, then your good.
I have never OC a P4 though, only AMD, So Im going by the AMD Processors.
