Default Overcloking?!?

First of all i understand what overclocking is (kinda) ...but how do you do it. I have a AMD XP 1600+ i said i was going to upgrade a little bit faster and this person called me stupid and to just overclock it... And i have no clue how to do it and to have to not spend more money that would be great. Any help would be appreciated!

Raiden- you tweak this stuff thru the BIOS. When you first start yuor computer you should get some kind of instruction like:
"Press F1 to enter setup"
"press DEL to enter setup"
That will get you into the BIOS system.
