Nah I'm sure you're right, but PC3200 will still work in there, it'll just underclock to PC2700 speeds, or for optimal system settings you'd want it to match your CPU FSB. Check CPU to find out what it is. If it says FSB 133 then that's PC2100 speed and you'd want to underclock the RAM even further to match that.Nubuis, Thanks again! last question man. My mobo is an Asus P4PE and i'm pretty certain it can only take up to 2700 ram(does this sound right, or do i have no idea of what i'm talking about)
Even 3-3-3-8 timed ValueRAM when underclocked to PC2100 can run at high performance RAM speeds with 2-2-2-5 timings if like I said you underclocked it down to match your CPU which I'm just taking a guess that it's 133 (again check CPU-Z to verify)
