How does that work? You recommend a 525/1050 for a 6600 GT, but a 400/1100 for a 6800 GT? Is there something that I'm missing? I mean, the 6600 GT can have 125 more on the top than the 6800 GT?

the 6600gt has 8 pipelines, while the 6800gt has 16pipelines

the 6800gt is much better than the 6600gt

I think I gotcha. You can operate the 6800 GT at 400 because it has 16 pipelines that it is working with rather than 8, getting the job done better than the 525 with 8 pipelines. Right?

it's a different core dude, they aren't the exact same GPUs...think of a 6600GT as an intel and the 6800GT as AMD....less clock frequency but still gets more operations done
